Pause for Prayer

May will soon be here. We can see summer just ahead. Whether we go to school, work, or no longer have those obligations, summer is when we think of taking trips, spending time outside, and taking an opportunity to enjoy family experiences. What is it about summer that brings these thoughts to the front of our minds? Is it the warmer weather? Longer days? I don’t know the answer. I do know that we should think of these things during other seasons.

Father, we thank You for the summer and the opportunity to travel, breathe fresh air, and be with family. We pray for the wisdom to have these thoughts in all the seasons of the year. For such blessings as these, we are grateful. We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
