Pause for Prayer

Last Sunday marked the 21st year since the attack on several sites in the United States. September 11, 2001 was a day of death and destruction. It was also a day of courage, selflessness, caring and strength. In the midst of tragedy, loss, and unbelievable sorrow, people came together to help wherever and however they could.

God of all, as we remember pain and fear, let us keep in our minds and hearts how faith in You brought us to the other side. Whenever we recall what seems to be the worst of times, we must also recall any of the best that came out of those times. You are present in every situation and that is most important. We give all to You, God. We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
