Food of Faith
Westminster partners with local churches to serve hot meals to the homeless and needy families in the Bay County Area on Thrusday evenings. From July – December, Westminster hosts these dinners in the Fellowship Hall. Messiah Lutheran hosts the dinnters in their hall from January – June. Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m.
All are welcome for a meal
or to pitch in as a volunteer.
Westminster provides non-perishable foods to those who are in need. Our congregation has many fund drives, and partners with the Boy Scouts of America to keep our pantry full of food. Donations and requests may be made during office hours.
Good Samaritan Rescue Mission
"Expressing God's love by reaching out to the hurting and homeless of the Bay area by providing shelter and care, by developing a community of support, and by proclaiming the Gospel of Christ."
With a donation of $35,000, our generous congregation helped open the new men's wing at this local homeless shelter. For more information about the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission, please see their website: www.gsrmbaycity.org
